This champagne glass from Riedel Fatto A Mano differs from Riedel’s other grape-specific glasses in that it is designed to highlight the beverage itself rather than a single grape variety – since champagne is traditionally made from a blend of grapes.

The bowl is tapered at the bottom, encouraging a stream of bubbles to rise like a pillar through the glass. This elegant effect is not only visually stunning but also helps to prolong the life of the champagne. The wide middle section of the bowl enhances the aromas, while the narrow opening concentrates the scent towards the nose and directs the liquid to the tip of the tongue, enhancing the perception of sweetness.
